Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Humber Restoration ("we", "us") handles personal data for visitors to humberrestoration.co.uk and people who contact us about water, flood and fire damage restoration in Hull and East Yorkshire. • Callback form details. When you submit the callback form we collect your name, phone number, postcode and a short description of the problem you have reported.
• Phone calls. When you call our number, your call may be recorded or a voicemail captured so we can respond to your enquiry and pass on the details needed to help you. We also see your phone number.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry: to call you back, arrange a visit, and pass the job to a vetted local restoration contractor who can attend. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Our lawful basis

For emergency enquiries we rely on taking steps at your request and on our legitimate interest in responding quickly to a property emergency. Where you submit the form, you are consenting to us contacting you about your enquiry.

Who we share it with

• The local restoration contractor who attends or quotes for your job, so they can contact you and help.
• Our service providers, namely our website host (Netlify) and our call and form handling providers, who process data on our behalf to deliver this service.
• Authorities or insurers only where you ask us to, or where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow up, and then delete them. Call records are kept for a short period for quality and to action your enquiry, then removed.

Your rights
